What's it all about?

AAG TV is a part of the GEO network which decided to target the often over looked Asian teens scene. GEO is a well established broadcaster with a very strong presence in Pakistan. This is first Asian created television channel that aims to provide music across all genres.

Yes, it plays videos from Indian and Pakistani pop stars, but unlike any other broadcaster, AAG actually crosses the mental Khyber Pass and mixes in a load of videos for the UK's 'Who tube" generation. From Apache Indian to Kylie, from Bhangra to Rock AAG is very, very different.

AAG means "Fire", AAG is GEO's inspirational youth channel targeting 16-24s from every race, creed and culture.

Philosophy

"AAG is the SPACE that INSPIRES the YOUTH to discover and express itself by CHALLENGING to EXPERIENCE, BOND and BE while becoming a COMMUNITY of INDIVIDUALS".

Programming

AAG sets a new standard for Asian TV, with ambitions of being recognised as broad minded, the channel is based upon the best of western music channels.

The programming covers videos, new releases, movies, online and games news amongst other great content like reviews, interviews, discussions and chat shows.

With music video's from around the world brought to you by the newest street recruited VJs in Asia, AAG mixes it with the best. This is the hippest channel to come out of Asia, period.

Programming highlights

Teeli Potpourri - VJ Andaz (style) brings the latest videos from around the world, with names like, Pharrel Williams, Shaan, Beyonce and Robbie Williams

Lafanga Flop Aadmi (rascal loser) - Scum of the earth VJ bringing interviews with the hottest names in world-wide entertainment.

Other programmes - A new programme has been launched reviewing the latest games, consoles, online sites and mobile downloads available.

Audience Type

AAG has taken advantage of the rise of the ROCK and Urban culture in Pakistan and become the first on the airwaves with content relevant to them. This has been adapted for different geographical locations.
